Most everyday products today are not fully thought out – eventually, they become waste. QWSTION was founded in Zurich in 2008 to challenge the norm of how things are designed, manufactured, and used. The result is bags and everyday items designed for a circular economy – made from plants instead of plastic.  

The focus of the creative process on material research led to the development of Bananatex® – a robust, weatherproof, and 100% biodegradable textile made from sustainably grown banana plants. We offer this material openly to all companies looking to replace plastics with plant-based alternatives.
