Circular economy to join in: NEUMÜHLE opens Circular Drop Off at Werkstadt Zürich

Circularity has been part of everyday life since 10 April 2025 – with NEUMÜHLE’s first Circular Drop Off on the Werkstadt Zürich site. White textiles made of 100% cotton can now be handed in here to be returned to the textile cycle together with the radically circularly designed mono shirts. True to the motto: raw material instead of waste.

What is accepted:
White, unmixed cotton textiles – without print, elastane or mixed fabrics.
What is not suitable:
Synthetics, mixed fibres or coloured fabrics.

With this open collection centre for everyone, NEUMÜHLE wants to encourage a change in thinking: While 73% of all textiles worldwide are incinerated or sent to landfill, only 1% is recycled. The Circular Drop Off offers a concrete, local solution.

Fitting for Earth Day: new generation of mono shirts

On 22 April 2025, Earth Day, the next milestone will follow: the new generation of plastic-free mono shirts will be launched. The shirts are made entirely from a single material – including collars, hems and sewing thread – and are therefore fully recyclable. A true circular design that could save over 100 tonnes of textile waste every year – in Switzerland alone.

The new colours: Black Coal, Snow White, Dusty Purple and Olive Grey
